Meet
Dr. Murray Low
Murray Low Ed.D., FACSM, FAACVPR
Dr.
Murray Low is the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Director at various
rehabilitation centers in the Bronx, Westchester and lower CT area.
He is highly regarded as one of the top experts in the area of cardiovascular
rehabilitation.
His education includes a B.A. and M.S. in Health and Physical Education
from Hunter College as well as Ed.D. in Applied Physiology from Columbia
University.
He has written many publications focusing on physical training in
relation to the cardiovascular system and is an outstanding speaker.
His presentation style is both interesting and lively.
Dr. Low is a member of the Westchester/Putnam County American Heart
Association (for which he served one term as Chairman), a member of
the National Board of Directors for the American Association for Cardiac
and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and is a past President of the New York
State Association for Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
He was a Fellow of The American College of Sports Medicine and The
American Association for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
He has served as a member of several different committees within the
American College of Sports Medicine and is Chairman: ACSM Marketing
Committee for Credentialing & Registry Board. He is Professor
Emeritus of York College - City University of New York Dept. of Health,
Physical Education & Gerontological Services.
