Meet Dr. Moussouttas
Doctor
Michael Moussouttas is a board-certified neurologist specializing
in vascular disorders of the nervous system. After graduating from
New York University, Dr. Moussouttas obtained his medical education
from the State University of New York Medical at Syracuse Medical
Center. Dr. Moussouttas completed his medicine internship at North
Shore University Hospital in Long Island, his neurology residency
at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and a cerebrovascular
fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital. He is also trained and certified
in performing and interpreting vascular ultrasound studies of the
head and neck.
Currently, Dr. Moussouttas is an assistant professor and co-director
of the cerebrovascular
program at the Neuroscience Institute of Seton Hall University,
where his duties include developing and expanding the cerebrovascular
program, inpatient and outpatient care, and resident training. Along
with a team of dedicated physicians, researchers, and nurses, he
is also actively involved in research, including acute & preventive
clinical trials and the publication of academic works.
