Meet Dr. Lynne Perry-Böttinger
Lynne Perry-Böttinger,
M.D., F.A.C.C..
Lynne
Perry-Böttinger, M.D., is assistant professor of clinical medicine
at Columbia University and clinical assistant professor of medicine
at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She is a former
faculty member of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Yale
Medical School. She is a board certified clinical and interventional
cardiologist and owner of Clinical and Interventional Cardiology
PLLC.
Dr. Perry-Böttinger
received medical degrees from Yale Medical School and Harvard University.
Her awards are numerous. She was listed as one of the top black
doctors in the New York tri-state area by the Network Journal in
2002 and 2003. She was listed as one of the top doctors in New York
by New York Magazine June 16, 2003. She is listed in the 2003 edition
of Castle Connolly's America's Top Doctors. She received the Booker
Award at the National Medical Association in 2003 for her media
work on heart disease.
She speaks fluent German,
facile Spanish and French in addition to her native English and
is learning Russian and Chinese. As a Yale medical resident, she
spent two months at Harare Hospital in Harare, Zimbabwe, teaching
residents and caring for patients.
Dr. Perry-Böttinger
is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a board member
of the Amertican Heart Association, Association of Black Cardiologists,
Heart Center Online, a diplomate of the American Board of Internal
Medicine, and an associate of the American College of Physicians.
She is also a guest medical expert for the NBC "Today"
show and Black Entertainment television.
