My
Dear Luther
My Soul Mate Singer and Survivor,
We've
shared so much over the last few years but our earthly relationship
has come to a close. You're finally free from bondage and
you've made it to the other side.
Only God knew how much you could bear and I fully trust
that His time is the right time.
I
remember our last visit together on June 12th. You had a
good training session. You sang for your Mama, showed her
the strength you were gaining, then we had dinner together
-- just you, Mama and me. Mama asked me to bless the meal
and you punctuated the end with a loud resounding "AMEN".
What I didn't know then was that it was our Last Supper.

Now
that you've joined the angelic choir, I want to publicly
thank you for all you've done. Thank you for responding
to my outreach through STROKE OF HOPE and confirming that
my work is not in vain. Thank you for the gift of your courage,
trust, wisdom and inspiration that fuels my own survival
here on earth. Thanks for the moments of laughter and the
sincere love and protection you so freely gave my little
daughter, Valerie, who loves you so much in return. And
finally, thank you for reminding me that there's no such
thing as "can't".
You've
given me hope and confidence to use the new voice God's
blessed me with in an even more effective way. Your spirit
has infused me with a greater charge to fulfill our mission.
Your legacy as an artist is obvious to the world, but your
legacy as a Survivor has only just begun and I vow to spread
the message of hope and survival every day in every way.
I'm assured that you'll continue to watch over us from above.
Don't
worry about your Mama. She knows you're with her and we
will continue to embrace her and care for her in truth and
love. I miss you my friend, my Brother Survivor. You
truly are "So Amazing".
In
the love and peace of God,
Hazella
